PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING, DOWNLOADING, OR USING ANY OF UNITED SAFE VAN LINES’ SITES AND SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MAY NOT USE THE SITES AND SERVICES.
These Customer Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website(s), mobile application(s), and other online products (collectively, “Sites”) and relocation and related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by United Safe Van Lines, Inc. (“United Safe Van Lines,” “we,” or “us”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
The Services
United Safe Van Lines arranges relocation and related services through an online platform that connects individuals (“Customers”) with independent service providers (“Service Providers”). Services include, but are not limited to, household goods moving, vehicle shipping, storage, packing, and cleaning.
United Safe Van Lines is a licensed household goods and property broker under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) with USDOT No. [Insert Number] and Docket No. [Insert Number]. We do not directly provide moving or storage services but arrange for their provision by Service Providers. United Safe Van Lines is not a party to agreements between Customers and Service Providers.
Customers obtain quotes, communicate with, and engage Service Providers through the Services. United Safe Van Lines acts as an authorized agent to facilitate these arrangements and may take necessary actions in urgent situations if the Customer is unavailable, always acting in the Customer’s best interest. Customers may request changes if unsatisfied with our work product.
Service Providers issue estimates based on their Tariff or direct quotes. For transportation services, they provide a bill of lading or shipment documentation. United Safe Van Lines’ inclusion in such documentation as “carrier” or “shipper” does not alter its broker status. Customers must sign relevant documentation upon service completion, noting any issues, loss, or damage.
United Safe Van Lines may terminate its relationship with a Customer with three (3) days’ notice. Termination does not relieve United Safe Van Lines from completing pending Services or Customers from payment obligations.
Modifications of Terms
United Safe Van Lines may modify these Terms at any time, effective upon posting on the Sites. Customers are responsible for reviewing updates. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with modified Terms, you must stop using the Sites and Services and notify us to remove you from communication lists.
Escrow Services
United Safe Van Lines uses third-party payment processors to manage payments. Customer payments are held in an escrow account controlled by United Safe Van Lines and released to Service Providers upon service completion, confirmed by the Customer or after seven (7) days without dispute notification. By using escrow services, you agree to the third-party processor’s terms.
Funding the Escrow Account
Customers must fund the escrow account via debit or wire transfer two (2) days before the scheduled service date to ensure funds are cleared. A 48-hour grace period is provided for late funding without penalty. If funds are not received, United Safe Van Lines may cancel services and charge the full amount due, including Service Provider cancellation fees.
Payment Release
Services are deemed complete when the Customer confirms satisfactory performance. If no confirmation is provided within 48 hours post-service, funds are released to the Service Provider unless a dispute is filed.
Cancellation and Refunds
Customers may cancel Services up to 7 days before the scheduled date without fees. Late cancellations may incur Service Provider fees, deducted from refunds. Refunds for Service Provider non-performance or billing errors are processed within five (5) business days after review.

United Safe Van Lines may monitor communications (e.g., calls, emails, texts) between Customers and Service Providers through the Sites to ensure quality and compliance, per our Privacy Policy.
